Application for Sociology Minor

Acceptance Criteria:
Students must have completed at least three courses in sociology, including Introduction to Sociology. Applicants must have an overall 2.0 GPA in their completed sociology courses and an overall 2.0 GPA for all undergraduate courses.
Required Courses for Award of Minor:
(18 credit hours)
- Soc 101. Introduction to Sociology
- Five sociology electives (four must be at the 300 or 400 level)
Transfer Credit Policy:
The Sociology Department will accept up to 3 courses (9 credit hours) toward the minor. Transfer courses must be approved by the Department to count toward the minor; course descriptions may need to be provided to the department
