Institute for the Study of Ethnicity and the Life Course

The mission of the Institute for the Study of Ethnicity and the Life Course is to advance research on factors affecting the physical, psychological, and social well being of individuals, families, and community organizations of the new and old racial and ethnic groups in Western New York and Southern Ontario. The institute fosters comparative research aimed at understanding ethnic and racial differences in adaptation to the social, economic, and cultural environments of the United State and Canada by assisting faculty and students in:
