Bio: Kristen Schultz Lee’s research interests focus on gender and the life course in a comparative framework. She has a particular interest in using qualitative methods to analyze the meaning of decisions (to work, to divide housework, to invest in children, to care for aging parents) that are often analyzed in an economic framework. Lee’s research has been supported by the Japan Foundation and the Fulbright Foundation.
